Burnt Fortune is a fast-paced, cookie-collecting arcade game made for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2.

Step into the shoes of a busy chef racing against the oven timer — every cookie has its own countdown!

• Collect them before they burn.

• Survive wave after wave.

• Decide: Bank your cookies safely or Risk it all for even bigger rewards.

One mistake… and it’s Game Over!

Will you play it safe, or chase your fortune until it burns?

🕹️ Controls

• Mouse → Rotate the Chef

• W → Move Forward

• Esc → Pause Menu

🕹️ How to Play

• Move your chef to grab cookies before the timer runs out.

• Survive as long as you can across endless waves.

• After each wave, make your choice:

  • Bank → Save your score and keep it safe.

  • Risk → Continue to the next wave… but if you fail, you lose everything!
